“WE WILL RECTIFY OUR MISTAKES- BONGANI MAKHUKHULA

The Head Coach of the Senior Women’s National Team, Bongani Makhukhula, has assured that Sitsebe SaMhlekazi will correct the errors from their opening match to deliver a stronger performance in their next outing. The team finalized their tactical preparations today, Saturday, 21 February 2026, ahead of their crucial second Group B fixture in the HOLLYWOODBETS COSAFA Women’s Championship.

“Preparations are going well, and we have worked hard to plug the loopholes we identified in the first game. We are going to deliver what is expected of us,” Makhukhula stated.

The coach confirmed that the squad remains highly motivated and physically fit following their opener against Zimbabwe. “Aside from the player who was red-carded, the rest of the squad is refreshed and injury-free,” he added, referring to the suspension of defender Ncedo Gamedze, who will miss the upcoming match.

Eswatini is set to face Botswana tomorrow, Sunday, 22 February 2026, at the Seshego Stadium in Polokwane. Kick-off is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
