EFA PART WAYS WITH NATIONAL TEAM HEAD COACH

The Eswatini Football Association (EFA) has announced the departure of Croatian-born Head Coach Zdravko Logarusic from the Senior Men’s National Team (Sihlangu SeMnikati). This decision comes with only two matches remaining in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers against Angola at home and Cabo Verde away.

Despite having two months left in their agreement, both parties reached a mutual decision to end the coaching engagement. In a press statement, the EFA emphasized that the decision was made with respect to the head coaching position.

Following this development, the EFA Executive Committee has appointed the current Assistant Coach, Mr. Sifiso Ntibane, as the Acting Head Coach for the remaining World Cup qualifiers scheduled for October 2026. Additionally, Mr. Ernest Mavuso will serve as the Acting Assistant Coach during this period. The rest of the national team’s technical and management staff will remain unchanged.
