EFA GIVES AWAY 200 SOCCER BALLS TO SOME PRIMARY AND HIGH SCHOOLS
The Eswatini Football Association (EFA) has given some primary and high schools a total of 200 soccer balls to be utilized during the implementation of football development programmes. The schools that benefited are those that have a Memorandum of Understanding with the EFA.
When addressing the beneficiary schools, the EFA’s General Secretary Frederick Mngomezulu expressed the importance of providing the platform for the Eswatini Child to develop in sports. “It is of utmost importance to provide the platforms for children to develop in sports not particularly in football; but the other sporting codes are also essential in as far as the development of a child is concerned more especially at a tender age where they are still discovering their interest and capabilities in sports. Football is more fertile thus the EFA has taken the initiative to implement football development programmes in school,” Mngomezulu said.
