BUILD IT U13 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED

The Build It Under 13 National Championship 2025 was officially announced at Sigwaca House on the 5 November 2025, marking a significant milestone in the Kingdom’s flagship grassroots football development program. This year’s championship is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Somhlolo National Stadium.

EFA Technical Director Mr. Bhekisisa Mkhonta praised the tournament as a beacon of football development, emphasizing its role in nurturing future stars for elite and national teams through skill-building and values such as teamwork. He expressed gratitude to Build it, Coaches, Parents, Regional Football Associations, and the Media for their contributions to fostering emerging talent.

The Regional Director of Build it, Ms Tryce Wentzel, commended retailers for their investment in the Under-13 festival of this football development program. She highlighted the E10,000 educational support for the best player and acknowledged the efforts of the EFA and all other involved parties. Les Pillay from Build It also praised the EFA’s commitment to elevating the program and the vital community ties established by retailers. He emphasized the importance of media attention on grassroots football development and pledged commitment for the next decade.

EFA General Secretary Mr. Mngomezulu recognized Build it’s expansion from Mbabane to eight stores nationwide. He applauded the brand’s strategic growth alongside the Build it U13 Football Development Program. “The Eswatini Football Association Salutes Build it for its enduring investment, the execution by retailers, the support from suppliers, the dedication of coaches and parents, and the media’s coverage of grassroots football,” Mngomezulu stated.
