EFA ENDORSES RADISOL GLOBAL INVESTMENTS PARTNERSHIP TO DRIVE PLE COMMERCIALISATION AND DEVELOPMENT

The Eswatini Football Association (EFA) has endorsed the appointment of Radisol Global Investments as the exclusive commercialisation and development partner of the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE), marking a significant step towards strengthening the commercial sustainability and professionalisation of domestic football.

The endorsement was announced during the official launch of the partnership at The George Hotel in Manzini on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, where the EFA President highlighted the potential of responsible commercialisation to unlock new opportunities for clubs, players and the wider football community.

The partnership is expected to create opportunities for stronger sponsorship platforms, increased investor confidence and enhanced media and broadcasting value, while supporting club development and initiatives aimed at nurturing youth and women’s football.

“Through responsible commercialisation, there is an opportunity to strengthen sponsorship platforms, broaden investment confidence, enhance media and broadcasting value, support club development, and contribute to programmes that nurture youth and women’s football,” the EFA President said.

The EFA recognises the Premier League of Eswatini, as its member, as a key institution in the administration of elite domestic football. The PLE oversees the Premier League and National First Division, placing it at the centre of competition management, club advancement and the broader professionalisation of the game.

The Association’s endorsement reflects its commitment to ensuring that commercial partnerships contribute to the long-term development of football and deliver tangible benefits across the sport. This includes strengthening clubs, developing talent, protecting players and expanding opportunities for young people and women.

Governance and Accountability Remain Key

While welcoming the partnership, the EFA emphasised that commercial growth must be underpinned by transparency, ethical conduct, accountability and respect for football regulations.

All initiatives arising from the partnership must comply with the statutes, rules, licensing requirements and competition obligations of the EFA, PLE, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and FIFA.

The EFA also called on the PLE leadership and member clubs to embrace unity, discipline and professionalism to ensure that the collaboration delivers sustainable value. Radisol Global Investments was welcomed into the Eswatini football family with the expectation that its work would remain focused on the advancement of the game.

Towards a More Sustainable Football Future

The partnership aligns with the broader vision of building a credible and professionally managed football sector that contributes to national development. Its success will depend on cooperation among the PLE, its member clubs, commercial partners and other football stakeholders.

The EFA expressed hope that the collaboration would usher in a new chapter characterised by sustainable investment, stronger clubs, improved competition standards and expanded opportunities for the next generation of emaSwati.

“May this partnership open a new chapter for Eswatini football: one of sustainable investment, stronger clubs, dignified competition, expanded opportunities for our youth, and lasting pride for the Kingdom of Eswatini,” the EFA President said.

The Association reaffirmed its support for initiatives that strengthen the foundations of domestic football while safeguarding the integrity, governance and developmental purpose of the game.
