NGWANE HIGH SCHOOL CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF THE EFA PC SYSTEMS U19 GIRLS SCHOOLS LEAGUE – 2025

The EFA/PC Systems U19 Girls Schools League 2025 concluded with a remarkable display of talent and determination from the Girl Child, as teams wrapped up their campaigns in this essential development program. This football initiative aims to nurture emerging female football stars while promoting teamwork, discipline, and gender equality in the Kingdom’s sporting landscape.

As part of the competitive fixtures, the young players showcased resilience and skill, fostering a vibrant atmosphere that highlighted the growth of women’s football at the grassroots level. PC Systems commenced its prize package sponsorship for this development program this year, with plans to continue until 2027 as per the current agreement. This support has motivated the girls, many of whom are already part of the U20 Women’s National Team.

In the final standings, Ngwane High School emerged as champions, accumulating an impressive 42 points from 16 matches. Their closest contenders, Lozitha High School, secured second place with 38 points, while Mvoti High School finished third with 29 points.

EFA’s Technical Director, Bhekisisa Mkhonta, praised PC Systems for its support and commended the players for their enthusiasm. “This league has not only developed skills on the pitch but also instilled confidence in the Girl Child. A special gratitude goes to PC Systems for her investment in this football development program, as all the players have been motivated since the games began, thanks to the presence of incentives provided by the sponsor,” Mkhonta said. The EFA continues to encourage more organizations to invest in women’s football development programs.
