ESWATINI IS 180 MINUTES AWAY FROM MAKING A MAIDEN APPEARANCE IN THE FINALS OF A CAF COMPETITION
Eswatini is 180 minutes away from making a maiden appearance in a CAF competition. This is after Eswatini eliminated Zimbabwe from the TotalEnergies CHAN Qualifiers on Saturday night in a match that was played at the Mbombela Stadium. The lone goal for the match was scored by Junior Magagulain the 69th minute which made the aggregate score to be 4-0 in favour of Eswatini. During the post-match press conference, Sihlangu SeMnikati head coach, Zdravko Logarusic stated that this was a difficult match and they will use the TotalEnergies AFCON Qualifier matches against Guinea Bissau and Mali to prepare for the last round of the TotalEnergies CHAN Qualifiers against Madadgascar. “It was a difficult match even though we controlled the game. I am happy with the results but we can improve.
