EFA TO IMPLEMENT THE MONITORING OF COACHES

As an effort of the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) to develop football in the country, the organisation will execute a monitoring programme targeted to coaches of football clubs under the auspices of the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE); and the twelve (12) football clubs of the Eswatini Women Football Association (EWFA).

“This important initiative will enhance the coaches’ technical competencies, technical leadership skills, and job orientation. It is also part of the CAF Coaching Convention,” said Bhekisisa Mkhonta who is the Technical Director of the EFA.

A total of six (6) technical experts will implement this football development under the auspice of the EFA as they will visit the training sessions of the football clubs. These technical monitoring experts will monitor the following areas:

  • Football knowledge
  • Working ethics
  • Structure of the training sessions
  • Delivery of the training sessions
  • Dress code
  • Tools of coaching
  • Personality of the coach
  • Facilities.

This football development programme will commence on the 27th February – 8th March 2024.
