ACTION RESUME ON HIGH NOTE IN RES SIYAKHA JUNIORS LEAGUE

 After some weeks of break, the RES Siyakha U13 League action resume on high note over the past weekend as five games were executed in Tambankulu and Mafucula.

The games were headlined by a 8-0 massacre of Tambankulu FC by Equator FC in a one-sided encounter played at Mafucula Sports Ground on Saturday. This result proved to be too costly for second placed Tambankulu FC, who are now six points behind table toppers Brave Lions F.C. The latter beat Pachanga F.C. 5-3 in 8-goal thriller to maintain their 100 percent record with 21 points.

Equator F.C. are now third with 11 points while Hotspurs F.C. are 4th with nine points. Young Stars F.C. remain rooted at the basement with three points in seven outings. They suffered their sixth defeat at the hands of Young Killers F.C. with a 3-0 scoreline.

Other results of the weekend saw Bunyonyo F.C. beating Young Bombers F.C. 3-0 while Young Reds F.C. won against Rangers F.C. by 3-1 scoreline. For their win, Young Reds F.C. have jumped to the 5th position with 8 points. Meanwhile Bunyonyo F.C. have not moved from their 10th position despite the win.

The league is part of the RES Siyakha Programme which is sponsored to the tune of E150 000 by the Lubombo based sugar manufacturing company. The programme is divided into three categories namely; grassroots, juniors, and seniors league.
