The Senior Men’s National Team (Sihlangu SeMnikati) is ready for Botswana who are also known as the Zebras. This fixture always brings fireworks and Botswana has been the winning side in recent matches that were played.

Sihlangu SeMnikati Head Coach, Sifiso Ntibane stated that they are ready for the Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup opening match against Botswana. “All the players are fit and responding well. They are looking forward to the match against Botswana,” Ntibane said. When quizzed about his approach in as far as this match is concerned, the head coach played his cards close to his chest as he stated that they know their opponent’s strengths and weaknesses and their focus in as far as the preparations are concerned was to consolidate everything tactically and technically. “We know Botswana very well as we are aware about their strengths and weaknesses. Our focus at training was in consolidating everything that is tactically and technically,” Ntibane said.

Eswatini will play against Botswana on Wednesday 26th June 2026 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha, South Africa. Kick-off is at 1500hrs.
