The Senior National Team (Sihlangu SeMnikati) head coach Sifiso Ntibane predicts a bright future for the national team based on the performance of the players. “Even though I am not happy about the results, I am pleased about the performance of the players. Their performance showed that they wanted results,” Ntibane said

Eswatini national team had an average age of 23 years as per the mandate of the EFA to the technical bench was to send young teams to the Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup 2024. “The mandate from the EFA was to give young players the international exposure in order to creat a lot of depth for the national team,” Ntibane said.

The head coach also expressed his worry on the shyness of the players in front of goal regardless of creating numerous goal scoring opportunities. “The players are tactically discipline and capable of adjusting as the match evolves. About 70% of the national team is fine as their performance was good. The plyers are young, have height, and are eager to learn. My main concern is their shyness in front of goal regardless of creating numerous goal scoring opportunities that were created in the tournament,” Ntibane said.
