LETTICIA VIANA CONTINUES TO BE A PEARL INTERNATIONALLY

She keeps on hoisting the country’s flag sky high in as far as refereeing is concerned. This is Letticia Viana who is one of the eight (8) participants selected for the upcoming FIFA Video Match Official Seminar to be held in Doha, Qatar as from the 19th – 21st January 2025. This seminar is part of FIFA’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Finals.

Letticia is also one of the fourteen (14) VAR and AVAR officials that will be officiating during the TotalEnergies CHAN Finals to be hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. This competition will be held as from the 1st – 28th February 2025.

“I am very humbled and honoured for these achievements as they are not only about me as an individual, but they are a milestone for the country as most significantly; I am representing the country,” Viana said. Letticia also believes that these achievements will also motivate other referees and the girl child to work hard to enhance the chances of being successful in the future. “I also believe that these achievements will also motivate other referees and the girl child to work extra hard in order to enhance the chances of being successful in the future,” Viana said.
