HLUTSE PRIMARY SCHOOL LEARNERS VISIT THE EFA TECHNICAL CENTRE

Grade 6 and 7 learners from Hlutse Primary School in Siphofaneni had an exciting opportunity to visit the EFA Technical Centre in Lobamba today as part of their educational trip. The visit began with a brief overview of the history of football as a global sport, followed by an introduction to the EFA (Eswatini Football Association) and its role as an organization.

During the visit, the learners were introduced to the many career opportunities available within the football industry, both on and off the pitch. Interestingly, some of the students had recently participated in the Build It U13 Tournament held in Siphofaneni just two weeks ago. Nokwanda Gamedze, one of the learners, shared her excitement about football and revealed how the visit inspired her to consider a career in refereeing after learning about the various roles in the sport. “When it comes to football, I am interested in refereeing, especially after learning about the opportunities highlighted in the presentations,” Gamedze said.
