EMLEMBE BEVERAGES TO HYDRATE THE SENIOR NATIONAL TEAMS

The Senior National Teams (Sihlangu SeMnikati and Sitsebe SaMhlekazi) have a new partner. This is Emlembe Beverages who is now the official hydration partner of the two national teams. This agreement was sealed on Tuesday morning at Sigwaca House in the presence of the Eswatini Football Association’s (EFA’s) General Secretary Frederick Mngomezulu, Emlembe Beverages Managing Director Jordan Lavendale, EFA Staff, Emlembe Beverages Staff, and the media.

In his remarks, Jordan Lavendale highlighted that as a company, they saw it prudent to invest towards the development of football in the country and by so doing giving back to the Eswatini community. “As Emlembe Beverages, we are very much humbled to partner with the Senior Men’s and Women’s National Teams by being their hydration partner as water is very much needed by the players as they represent the country during international matches. This is one way in-which Emlembe Beverages contributes towards the development of football in the country and in by so doing, we are giving back to the Eswatini community,” Lavendale said. This partnership is valued at E124 200 per year for an initial period of one and it is a renewable partnership.

The EFA’s General Secretary Frederick Mngomezulu thanked Emlembe Beverages for partnering with football. “After we launched the new national team replicas, Emlembe Beverages was amoung the first customers to buy the replicas and now they are partnering with football which is an indication of the love they have for football and their contribution towards the development of football in the country,” Mngomezulu said. He also stated that, this partnership came at the right time as the Senior Men’s National Team is in camp in readiness of the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifier Matches against Angola and Mauritius respectively. “This partnership came at the right time as the national team is in camp and the players are being hydrated by Emlembe Beverages. The players are also proud to be associated with this brand,” Mgomezulu said. He also assured Emlembe Beverages that the EFA will use this brand in other football development programmes, and will also protect the brand. We will utilize this brand when implementing other football development programmes and by so doing and we will utilize it to the best of our abilities. Our vision is to maintain this relationship beyond the one-year initial period,” Mngomezulu said.
