EFA URGES MBABANE SWALLOWS TO ELIMINATE CLUB FARROVIARIO BE BEIRA

The Eswatini Football Association (EFA) President Peter Simelane through his Vice President Steve Horton has urged Mbabane Swallows F.C. to go to Mozambique and finish the task that they started last week at the Lucas Moripe Masterpiece Stadium. The current MTN Premier League champions were triumphant in the first leg of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup match against Club Farroviario de Beira after winning by a solitary goal.

“Go to Mozambique and finish the job that you started last week,” said the EFA Vice President Steve Horton. He also highlighted the significance of Mbabane Swallows F.C. in advancing to the next stage of this competition. “As a country, our players benefit a lot when our teams progress in such competitions as they get the much-needed international exposure that is desirable for maximum performance in as far as national team football is concerned”, Horton said.

Mbabane Swallows F.C. will be hosted by Club Ferroviario de Beira on Sunday and kick-off is at 1500hrs.
