CAF CONFIRMS THE MATCH OFFICIALS FOR THE TOTALENERGIES AFCON PRELIMINARY ROUND MATCHES BETWEEN ESWATINI AND SOMALIA

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have confirmed the match officials for both the 1st leg and the 2nd leg of the TotalEnergies AFCON Preliminary Round Qualifier matches between Eswatini and Somalia. The match officials for the 1st leg are as follows:

  • Andre Onesime Kolissala-Mbangui (Referee) from Central African Republic;
  • Jospin Luckner Malonga (Assistant Referee 1) from Central African Republic,
  • Oscar Vujovic Serengapou (Assistant Referee 2) from Central African Republic;
  • Merve Melvin Mandekouzou-Vendafara (4th Official) from Central African Republic;
  • Amine Mougou (Match Commissioner) from Tunisia;
  • Bechir Hassani (Referee Assessor) from Tunisia.

 The match officials for the 2nd leg are as follows: 

  • Joseph Odey Ogabor (Referee) from Nigeria;
  • Samuel Pwadukani (Assistant Referee 1) from Nigeria;
  • Abubakar Nurudeen (4th Official) from Nigeria;
  • Bhai Mustapha Chitbahat (Match Commissioner) from Mauritius;
  • Jerome Efong Nzolo (Referee Assessor) from Gabon.

The Senior Men’s National Team has commenced the preparations for these significant matches against Somalia (Away and home). The way match will be played in Morocco on the 20th March 2023 whilst the home match will be played at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, South Africa on the 26th March 2024.
