A VICTORY AGAINST TANZANIA WILL QUALIFY ESWATINI TO THE SEMI-FINALS

“Everything is on our hands”, said Sihlangu SeMnikati Head Coach Zdravko Lugarusic during the pre-match interview ahead of the Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup 2025 match against Tanzania. It will not be an easy match for Eswatini in the last Group C match of this tournament which will be played on Wednesday, 11th June 2025 at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein. Kick-off for the match is at 1500hrs. Tanzania will be playing for pride as they are already eliminated in the tournament.

Sihlangu SeMnikati’s Head Coach believes the players are equal to the task. “We have the quality and knowledge as this is a good team,” Lugarusic said. Having said that, he is a concerned coach in as far as full recovery is concerned. “It is not easy to have total recovery within 48 hours; thus, we will refresh our team a little bit; however, we are on the right track”, Lugarusic said.

Junior Magagula who scored the equalizing goal against Madagascar also minced no words in as far as the toughness of this match is concerned. “It won’t be an easy match; however, we have the experience that can win us this match,” Magagula said. In scoring the goal against the Malagasy, he stated that it motivated him to put more effort in his game. “The goal I scored against Madagascar motivated me to work even harder in my game,” Magagula said.
