NTT TOYOTA ESWATINI SHOWS LOVE FOR SITSEBE SAMHLEKAZI

As the month of February which is popularly known as the month of love approaches its tail end; NTT Toyota Eswatini has demonstrated love to the Senior Women’s National Team (Sitsebe SaMhlekazi) by gifting the squad with track suites and golf T-shirts before the national team’s departure to Johannesburg for the TotalEnergies WAFCON Qualifiers 2nd leg match against Namibia. This match will be played on Wednesday, 26th February 2025 and kick-off is at 1500hrs.

When presenting the merchandize to the national team; NTT Toyota Eswatini’s Sales Executive Laurence Methula expressed the company’s excitement in supporting the development of sports in the country. “As NTT Toyota Eswatini, we are excited to be part of the development of sports in the country; and we wish you all the best as you go to compete outside the country,’ Methula said.

Reacting to this support on behalf of the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) was the General Secretary of the organization Frederick Mngomezulu who acknowledged the support from NTT Toyota Eswatini. “We acknowledge the support from NTT Toyota Eswatini and promise her that we will take good care of the merchandize. We also promise NTT Toyota Eswatini that by investing in football, she will be visible even in the global market,” Mngomezulu said. The General Secretary of EFA also urged the players to believe in themselves as they go for the 2nd leg match. “The players must believe in themselves as this match will provide an opportunity to rectify the scoreline as last week’s Friday’s match was like a first half on this fixture and the match to be played in South Africa will be like the 2nd half,” Mngomezulu said.

Support

The head coach of the national team, Bongani Makhukhula highlighted that they learnt something from the 1st leg as they will be all out for the 2nd leg. “We learnt a valuable lesson from the 1st leg and we will be all out for the 2nd leg. We ask the fans to be patient and supportive to us,” Makhukhula said. His words were echoed by the national team’s captain Nonhle Simelane who also pleaded for support. “We ask for more support as we wish to come back with positive results,” Simelane said.
