BUILD IT U13 2024/2025 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED

Come Saturday, 25th January 2025 all roads lead to the Mavuso Sports Centre where a total of eight (8) pick teams representing all the Build It Stores in the country will battle it out for the national championship of this prestigious football development program. “The national championship of the current Build it U13 National Championship will be played on Saturday, 25th January 2025 at the Mavuso Sports Centre”, said the Eswatini Football Association’s (EFA’s) General Secretary Mr. Frederick Mngomezulu. He also invited all football stakeholders to witness this football event more especially the parents and relatives of the youngsters who will be in action on the day.

During this championship the public is guaranteed of the best grassroots football as Siteki, Nhlangano, Mbabane, and Manzini will compete in Group A; whilst Pigg’s Peak, Siphofaneni, Buhleni, and Matsapha compete in Group B. The winners and the runners-up per group will qualify for the knock-out phase of this tournament.

The Build it U13 National Championship came at the precise time during the back-to-school period as the best player will win himself an educational voucher of E10 000.00. “The stage is set for Eswatini’s finest young talent to compete for the ultimate honour of being the Build it U13 Championship with the best player to be awarded a E10 000.00 to support his education”, said Lockie Van Niekerk who is the Build it Regional Retail Operations Manager. In this current edition alone, Build it has invested over E500 000.00.

This football development program have produced national team players over the years and other football development programs also benefit as a total of 72 aspiring coaches have been developed from the Build it U13 Football Development Program.
