SIHLANGU SEMNIKAT ALL OUT TO ELIMINATE ZIMBABWE IN THE CHAN QUALIFIERS
The Senior Men’s National Team (Sihlangu SeMnikati) is all out to eliminate Zimbabwe in the TotalEnergies CHAN Qualifiers. Eswatini will host Zimbabwe this afternoon at the Mbombela Stadium this afternoon and kick-off is at 1800hrs. Currently Eswatini is leading by 3-0 on aggregate score.
Sihlangu SeMnikati Head Coach Zdravko Logarusic is very much cautious ahead of today’s match as he insist that the game is not yet over as the is another 90 minutes of football to be played. “The game is still on and we have to be careful,”Lugarusic said.
In as much as the technical bench of the national team have tried to take the pressure off from the players, they have to be sure that the players are not relaxed but focus to the match. “We have to be sure that the players are not relaxed as we take the pressure off them. It is important that they stay focused to the game,” Logarusic said.
The head coach of the Zimbabwe Men’s national team Takesure Chirugwi acknowledged that the task ahead of today’s match is a huge one; however, they believe they can perform well in today’s match. “We have another opportunity to prove ourselves even though the task is big. We have the belief that we can do better and build from the 1st leg’s performance as we have worked on the mistakes we committed,” Chiragwi said.
Eswatini needs a draw to advice to the next round of the TotalEnergies CHAN Qualifiers.
