SIHLANGU HEAD COACH HAPPY WITH THE PLAYERS
The Senior Men’s National Team’s (Sihlangu SeMnikati’s) head coach Sifiso Ntibane is happy with the players’progress since the national team commenced its preparations for the Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup 2024 to be played as from the 26th June – 7th July 2024 in Gqeberha, South Africa. When addressing the members of the media on Wednesday morning, the head coach expressed his excitement in as far as the response of the players based on the training sessions.
“The preparations are going well since we started on Saturday as the players are motivated and responding well. The are a lot of positives that we see from the players as a technical bench of the national team,” Ntibane said. The head coach also highlighted that they are mainly focusing on the psychological capacity and body conditioning of the players as some were already on the off-season period prior to the national team call-up. “We are working on the psychological capacity and body conditioning of the players as some were already on off-season,” Ntibane said.
The coach’s words were echoed by the national team captain Kwakhe Thwala who expressed his delight for being the national team captain and highlighted that all is well in camp, and they are working very hard in order to perform better during the tournament. “I am happy to be the captain of the national team. All is well in camp and the team spirit is high. We are working hard at training in order to perform better during the tournament,” the skipper said.
