The Senior Women’s National Team, Sitsebe SaMhlekazi is ready for the two (2) international friendly matches against Lesotho in Maseru this coming weekend. Currently the national team is in camp and these 2 international friendly matches are part of their preparations for the Senior Women’s COSAFA Cup Competition to be held in Zimbabwe as from the 13th -24th September 2017.
According to the national team’s Head Coach, Mduduzi Nxumalo, they are now ready for the international friendly matches as they are looking forward to a successful trip. “The team has been in camp for the past 2 weeks, and everything is ok as the players are responding very well to the technics and tactics in training”, said the Head Coach. Currently the national team is training three (3) times a day at the Somhlolo National Stadium and the Technical Centre in Lobamba. The Head Coach also acknowledged the support that the national team is getting from the National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS).
The Head Coach’s words were echoed by Sitsebe SaMhlekazi’s Captain, Sibongile Ngwenya who also highlighted that they are looking forward to the trip to Lesotho and the match itself. “All is well in the camp as we are responding very well to the coaches training sessions and the spirit amongst the players is very high”. She also urged the Nation to support the Women National Team as they are taking these international friendly matches against Lesotho seriously considering the fact that they are preparing for an important competition. “We are taking these international friendly matches very serious considering the fact that we are preparing for the COSAFA Women’s Competition where we want to represent the country very well”, she said. The national team is scheduled to return back home on Monday, 10th July 2017.
