CHARITY CUP A SUCCESSFUL COMPETITION OVER THE YEARS-NFAS PRESIDENT

The National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS), Senator Adam Mthethwa is pleased with the impact that the SPTC Charity Cup Competition has done to football and the society. When addressing the audience during the soccer kits presentations on Thursday, 17 th August 2017, the President of the NFAS highlighted that the Cup of Hope is very good for football as clubs are able to showcase their readyness for the new season whilst at the same time it provides a perfect platform to improve a lot of lives in the country over the years which makes the whole concept of this tournerment a successful one.

"This competition has been a success over the years as clubs are able to showcase what the fans can look forward to in as far as the new season is concerned and also the fact that charity is always a winner which is the main purpose of the competition", said the President of the NFAS.

Speaking of success, he also said that the country will be hosting its 50/50 celebration, the tripatate has already received the challenge of making the next edition the best ever Charity Cup. The President also urged the public to attend the Charity Cup games that will be played at the King Sobhuza Stadium on Sunday, 20th  2017.
