The NFAS/Build It Nhlangano Championship that was held at the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium in Nhlangano was a huge success. This event was also witnesses by the Chief executive Officer (CEO) of the National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS), Mr Frederick Mngomezulu and the Build It Mbabane Assistant Manager, Mr Eugen Meyer.
This event commenced by a walk from Nhlangano Build It Store to the venue where the matches were played. Forming part of this march were the NFAS and Build It employees, Coaches, Clubs and the Royal Swaziland Police Services (RSP). The main purpose of this walk was to raise some awareness in as far as this event was concerned.
In the field of play, it was the main business of the day which was playing football as the clubs competed for the championship. A total of fourteen (14) matches were played including the finals that were played between Jojo FC and Barcelona FC which ended in a 1-1 score line, with the former being the eventual winners after penalty shootouts. For their efforts, the Champions won themselves a Trophy, Individual trophies; a soccer kit and individual bags whilst the runners -ups won themselves individual trophies and bags.
